34/35/36 weeks

I am on th I-pad so it is a no picture post...sorry! We are doing good just busy busy as we count down the last few weeks!! Didn't this go by fast?

How far along: 34/35/36 weeks 

Gender: our little man

Maternity clothes? I can tell the belly is bigger because things that are maternity and used to fit nice do not anymore!! 
Stretch marks? I might have one still trying tomfigurenout if it is or not hahaha maybe that is denial! 
Sleep: this last week really took a turn. I need SIX pillows to be somewhat comfy...not good! 
Symptoms: Mint tums are my favorite! Takes the reflux away!

Name: Brayden!

Weight Gain: With 3 weeks left I am up 27 1/2 lbs. phew! Let's keep it to a lb a week! 

Cravings/aversions: Sugar is amazing and so are blizzards. It didn't help that when we went to the sounders game we got buy one get one free blizzard coupons! 

How the baby is growing: He is a honeydew. Dr's want to do an ultra sound this coming thursday to check out his size. We are measuring a little bigger and well we all know at 5' tall it might be a challenge to get him out of there. Please pray for no c section and that they at least let me try on my own! 

Movement: This morning he decided to drop a little. This means I can take in deep breaths. It also means more pressure down yonder! Ouch! I over did it yesterday staining the fence, runni g around with my mom and other chores! Oops! 

What I miss: exercise..period! I want to bike run jog do more than walk one lap and have my back hurt!

Best Moment of the Week: finally hanging up things in B's room! So close to being done. The fish need bubbles and then put the randomness away!

Worst Moment of the Week: Waking up every morning and my feet hurt so bad! Once they get warmed up they work again! 

Wedding rings on or off? On! No swelling phew! 

Happy or Moody most of time? Still happy but Ntsy when things need to be taken care of. I get nervous everything won't be in order before he gets here! 

Looking forward to: seeing the little man on the big screen Thursday!

30/31/32/33

We have been so stinkin' busy this summer. I have not had any time to sit and blog. We are go go go and eventually I will make a blog of pictures that will depict our summer. As for now, here is the update for the last month.

How far along: 30/31/32/33 weeks 

Gender: mommy's new man

Maternity clothes? I am now outgrowing some of the shirts I have. They are tighter and barely covering that belly of mine. 
Stretch marks? I just keep slapping on the lotion
Sleep: Oh I wish I could sleep past 5 AM!
Symptoms: The burps and reflux are baaaack

Name: Baby B or Brayden

Weight Gain: Wow since last time we have gone to the Dr. twice and I am now up 26 lbs.... it can stop now. No, really it can!

Cravings/aversions: Still loving sugar

How the baby is growing: He is a butternut squash this week. His bones will all be hardened in the next two weeks!

Movement: Today was not a good day... we played let's see how many times we can stick our fit into mommy's right ribs!

What I miss: I just want to sleep on my belly!

Best Moment of the Week: Oh my gosh... I had a baby shower that was so much fun, we went to the sounders game today (hot but fun), Nic's 10 year reunion, and my brother got married! 

Worst Moment of the Week: I dread sitting in the car for more than 10 min. It is not comfy in the least. B gets squished and mad and moves and jabs... no good!

Wedding rings on or off? On and still loose. I haven't gotten swollen

Happy or Moody most of the time? Although uncomfortable, still happy

Looking forward to: booking another massage!

27/28/29 Weeks oops

I have been a huge slacker so here we go! 

How far along: 27/28/29 weeks 

Gender: little man

Maternity clothes? Funny joke... I tried to put a regular t-shirt on and my belly hung out the bottom. I swore I would never be that pregnant lady and took it right off! 
Stretch marks? Lotion is key people!
Sleep: I have a night here and there where I sleep
Symptoms: What are these? I still feel normal

Name: Baby B or Brayden

Weight Gain: We went to the Dr and guess what people! The scale is my friend... I didn't even go up a full lb... +20 right now

Cravings/aversions: ummm I like sugar sugar sugar... oh and the waking up at 2 AM starving has returned... mmm peanut butter on toast 

How the baby is growing: He is an acorn squash this week and will triple in weight in the next 11 weeks...YIKES 

Movement: When is he not moving?!? We went out on Cory's boat this past weekend and he didn't move at all! I think he likes to motion of the ocean

What I miss: Okay tmi time... I wish I could wipe like a normal person after going to the bathroom. How in the world will I do this in a month or so?!?! Drip dry?

Best Moment of the Week: I am currently at the salon to get my hairs did and then I am off to get my massage! Ahhh such a spoiled girl

Worst Moment of the Week: That nasty heat we had over the weekend. Thank goodness my 5 year old niece shared her slip and slide with me. Well I sat in the little pool end of it and she dumped water on me! Then we went out on the boat with them the next day! Gotta beat that heat! Good thing it is 68 degrees today... NOT. I want my summer back.. just keep it under 80 degrees please

26 Weeks

How far along: 26 weeks 

Gender: Baby Boy 

Maternity clothes? It is quite interesting... if you look back you will see that this tank was once worn with leggings....ya my rear end would show now if I did that outfit! 
Stretch marks? I check daily... well the parts that I can see... I don't see any but those two tiny ones on the left side.
Sleep: What is that word?
Symptoms: Nothing here

Name: Are you ready???? BRAYDEN

Weight Gain: +19 I will update again when we go to the Dr. on the 30th

Cravings/aversions: Fruit! Cherries are my favorite right now 

How the baby is growing: His eyes are forming and he has eye lashes! I hope he gets Nic's lashes they are so long! 

Movement: Well he really likes karate, soccer, kickboxing, yoga... you get it. He is VERY active. I thought it was trying to escape out my side the other day!

What I miss: Being able to bend. It isn't too far out that I won't be able to tie my shoes! 

Best Moment of the Week: My mom came up to get her hairs did and stayed over. Always fun to have mom around!

Worst Moment of the Week: It wasn't that bad it was rather a funny moment for the week. I had to take my glucose test on Monday. okay ladies, that orange drink is not that bad. It tasted like orange soda! I drank it at 8:25 AM and my paper said to show up 10-15 min early to get my blood drawn because there might be a line. I showed up 10 min. early and they were not happy with me. I cut in line and bypassed the 7 elderly people who had been waiting. WOOPS! Then I told the lady my right arm is the good arm. She says, "First you show up late and then you tell me which arm to use!" Someone was a little cranky! I laughed and thought it was all funny! I have gotten my results back and I am normal. However, I am anemic and need more iron. That worries me because I do not want to be constipated! EESH! 325 mg twice a day!

Belly button in or out? Oh the cave is a shallow wading pool but still in!

25 weeks

How far along: 25 weeks 

Gender: Baby Boy 

Maternity clothes? Yes, I started wearing them at 9 weeks....they do not fit how they did at 9 weeks...can we go back to how they fit then? 
Stretch marks? Still wondering if there are two tiny ones on my left side
Sleep: I wake up once still and usually by 6 AM I am up
Symptoms: Noppers 

Name: Baby B.... because we haven't decided how to spell it yet

Weight Gain: +19 let's not talk about it... less froyo and more gym

Cravings/aversions: Just eating normal food 

How the baby is growing: Oh he's growing! He is also growing more hair! Wonder what color it will be? 

Movement: Oh all the time. He found my ribs too! They are not a jungle gym B please leave them alone!

What I miss: sitting down comfortably 

Best Moment of the Week: When the Dr. was listening to his heart and he punched the doppler thingy... nobody gets to bug B in his condo! 

Worst Moment of the Week: Oh I was at the gym, and there are mirrors in the locker room. I glanced at one and thought, "Wow baby got back!" Err realizing that my thighs and butt are not my original model....hmmm

Happy or Moody most of the time? Happy! I want to meet him already!

Spare time

It feels like every weekend we are on the go! The weekend of June 24th we were down at my parents. Nic had just gotten back and Sunday, June 24th was the madre's bday! HAPPY BDAY MAMA! My mom and I got our nails done Saturday. We did the shelac nails and I love them! Sunday, we took mom out for bday breakfast! When I got to my parents, I looked at the guest bed to find quite a few outfits. They were not the usual size 4 cute Stef clothes. Instead, Baby B's closet will soon look like my own! My dad found Carter's online first and made and an order. Well, mom could not be shown up and so she made an order. Below, is the aftermath! I can't wait for him to wear all of these. I love the stripes and my favorite onesie is "Mommy's NEW Man!"

 This last weekend we were actually home! Can you believe it? But just because we were home, that does not mean we had nothing to do. The dentist I work for opened a coffee stand down at the Marina. Being 24 weeks pregnant, I thought why not get a third job! We had training on Saturday and I worked 6:45 AM- 1PM on Sunday. I like being down by the water but not sure how long I will actually be able to keep up with three jobs and a growing belly. 


We worked on the yard too! Nic's new toy... Mr. Edger. It is amazing how just tidying up the perimeter makes things look 1,000,000 times better! 

 My plants were a little dying down. I found them some new pots at our second home...home depot. Nic helped me replant them and my tomato plants are much happier! Here is the gerber and calalilly. I hope their flowers come back! I'm not too good at this whole plant deal!

23/24 Weeks

How far along: 23/24 weeks 

Gender: Little Man 

Maternity clothes? Yes, I am still on the hunt for some cotton summer dresses that do not cost an arm and a leg  
Stretch marks? There might be two tiny ones starting on my left side... the little man likes to hunker down on my left side
Sleep: Is peaceful now that I have my snoogle!!! It looks like a giant boppy for a pregnant lady! see picture below!

24 weeks

Symptoms: Very tight/bloated at night  

Name: Baby B.... because we haven't decided how to spell it yet

Weight Gain: +13 but I haven't weighed in for three weeks...next appointment is July 3rd.

Cravings/aversions: Back to eating like a normal person

How the baby is growing: Little man feels like he is growing 1lb a day. No really, he is almost a foot long and his lungs are almost fully developed but not functioning yet 

Movement: B thinks that when you lay down for bed it is time to dance!

What I miss: Being able to be super woman, go go go...can't do as much anymore... but that doesn't stop me from trying!

Best Moment of the Week: Ordering the Crib, dresser, and night stand! He has furniture coming! 

Worst Moment of the Week: This darn weather! Where is summer?!?!

Belly button in or out? In... I give it two more weeks and then it will be flat
